Looking for a way to make a difference in your community? To help others who are less fortunate? Become a member of the Heating Energy Assistance Team Volunteer Force.

Our needs are varied:

• answering the phone
• writing thank-you letters to donors
• inputting information into a computerized database
• stuffing envelopes and information packets
• planning special events
• handling general office duties
• writing copy for brochures, newsletters, and handouts
• maintaining and updating Web site
• speaking on behalf of H.E.A.T.
• and much more.

Whatever your skills or interests, chances are there's something you can do to help H.E.A.T. Whether you can commit to a few hours a week or month, or just want to volunteer for a one-time activity, we welcome you. Although most of our needs are for services to be performed at our office, there are several that can be done from your home or office.
